For some reason when people always point out looking in the past and how great memories are and all that stuff, it makes me kind of upset… like why are you so focused on looking back? I want to just worry about making my life great RIGHT NOW. i dont want to live in the past, and i absolutely hate living for/in my future. i hate planning. I just want to live right now, and make memories right now, and yeah look back on them and i enjoy looking back on memories but life is not to just living so you can look back on your life. life is for living right now and making it great and when it gets to that time for where you look back, you will, but that shouldn’t be your goal. because honestly its probably going to suck to look back on your life and feel all the emotions about it because a lot of it you’re not going to have anymore. because moving forward is the strongest, best and hardest thing you can do in life. but it is a necessity. so live right now. and don’t worry about anything else. lets make good memories now. so when we do look back, they were 100% our memories. you’re going to forget A LOTTTT of your life. but that’s how it’s supposed to be. yes, it is cool and fun and good sometimes to look back at pictures and stuff but the point of life is to live right now. it is the essence of it. just be happy now. don’t live your life for your 80 year old self can just look back, just live it and enjoy what and who you are right now. learn from the past. and look forward to the future. but don’t worry about either. you’ll never be happy if you do. My point isss just do what you want to do now, be yourself and all else will follow
like do you how many times i’ve looked back on old GREAT times, which is always fun but its like, it doesn’t matter anymore, it just makes me want to do more great things
